Videoland is a remarkable place, filled with lots of different video worlds,
possibly numbering in the hundreds. Here is a guide that is a must for every
tourist. You'll learn a great deal about each of Videoland's known worlds.
There's a lot of them, so let's get started!
The video world that is the home of Princess
Lana has never been given a name, at least not on the TV Series. The
Palace of Power is on this world, and Princess Lana rules from here in both
Videolands. The entire N Team usually lives on this world.
Metroid, the lair of the evil
Mother Brain, flies in the skies of
this world, close to the Palace.
This is the home of the infamous Mega Man,
his creator, Dr. Right, and the evil scientist,
Dr. Wily! This is a very technological
land, filled with lots of robots! Dr. Right's laboratory and Dr. Wily's
Skull Castle are on this world.
The home of Simon Belmont, Vampire Hunter, and the evil Count! Enter here if
you know no fear! Simon lives in his lodge on this world, and, due to
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MEGAMAN", Simon may also
live in a 64 room castle on an inflatable mountaintop! A good place to shop
while on this world is Honest Dave's Bullwhip Shop.
This world, known as Mount Icarus in the TV Series Videoland and also as
Mount Olympus in the Comic Book Videoland, is the home of Kid Icarus and the
Eggplant Wizard. A lot of the inhabitants
of this world have wings and can fly. They're also pretty good archers.
The home of the giant ape, Donkey Kong! Careful ya don't get squashed! This
is a jungle world, with lots of vegetation and rivers. A thousand years ago,
this world was ruled by Konga, a witch doctor and leader of the ancient
Kongas. The Lost City of Kongoland sank, but Konga vowed that the city would
rise again in a thousand years, which it did, in 1990. Also, whoever wore
his hat would be the habitat for his spirit and powers. Wouldn't ya know it,
Princess Lana was the misfortunate whoever.
She was finally able to fight off Konga and take off the hat, which Donkey
Kong destroyed. Then the Lost City of Kongoland sank again, this time
forever. Prince Plenty now rules a small village on this world.
This world is the home of the legendary hero, Link, and Princess Zelda, two
of the N Team's friends. The two of them live in North Castle. Link defeated
the evil Ganon and brought the three legendary Triforces (Power, Wisdom, and
Courage) together. They are now kept in the Throne Room in North Castle.
Surf's up! This totally rad beach world is full of fun sports, like surfing,
roller skating, bicycling, and skateboarding! Videoland's premiere vacation
spot! It's, like, so much fun!
This strange world "half-way across Videoland" from the
Palace of Power is the home of King Hippo. Boxing
is a favorite sport here! Get in the ring! No! Not the All-Flying
Hippo / Eggplant Jam Slam!
